Courageous Czech Political Leader Tomio Okamura Faces Three Years in Jail for Anti EU Migration Poster Video

Tomio Okamura’s prosecution for opposing the EU Migration Pact exposes a chilling assault on freedom of speech, as he stands firm against illegal migration and EU overreach, calling it a fight for Czech sovereignty and the democratic rights of all citizens.

Prague, Czechia — A chilling attempt to stifle political dissent has emerged in Czechia as Tomio Okamura, leader of the Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD) party, faces criminal prosecution for daring to oppose illegal migration. Known for his strong stance against the EU’s overreach and the Islamization of Europe, Okamura has accused Prime Minister Petr Fiala’s government of weaponizing the law to silence opposition voices. The charges stemming from a campaign poster critical of the EU Migration Pact carry the potential for a three-year prison sentence—a move Okamura calls a direct assault on freedom of speech.

Okamura, a multicultural Czech with a Japanese father and a Moravian mother, is no stranger to controversy or confrontation. In a defiant press conference, he condemned the charges as an “absurd and politically motivated” effort to weaken his party ahead of elections. “The government is terrified of the truth,” he declared. “They fear the growing support for our movement, which stands firmly against illegal migration and Brussels’ dangerous policies,” Okamura vowed to continue his fight for Czech sovereignty, calling this prosecution an attack not just on him but on the democratic rights of all citizens.

A Government Silencing the Opposition?

Okamura asserts that the move to prosecute him is politically motivated, orchestrated by the SPOLU coalition to stifle dissent and weaken opposition before the upcoming elections. “This is an attack on freedom of speech,” he said. “They want to criminalize the opposition for stating facts and defending Czech citizens.”

The charges arise from a criminal complaint filed by Jiri Pospisil, a prominent center-left politician from the TOP 09 party, part of the SPOLU coalition. Okamura pointed out that the government’s actions align with their ongoing support for the EU Migration Pact, a controversial agreement he has vehemently opposed.

“Unlike Poland and Hungary, Fiala’s government merely abstained from the vote, effectively betraying the citizens of our country,” Okamura said. He warned that this pact could lead to the redistribution of thousands of illegal migrants into the Czech Republic, creating significant security risks.

“This is not just about a poster; this is about silencing dissent. The SPOLU coalition and Fiala’s government want to hold on to power at all costs, even if it means criminalizing those who expose the truth,” Okamura declared.

“The Fiala Government Wants Me Silenced”

Okamura began by highlighting the absurdity of the situation. “Ladies and gentlemen, the police, under the direction of the State Representation, have requested my prosecution for a poster that simply states: ‘Stop the EU Migration Pact,'” he declared. The poster’s additional line, “The shortcomings in healthcare will not be solved by imported surgeons,” highlights his longstanding argument that illegal migration is not a solution to systemic issues in Europe.

Referencing his speech from Wenceslas Square in Prague last year, Okamura emphasized, “Not only have my warnings about illegal migration been fulfilled, but the situation has worsened. Unregulated migration from African and Islamic countries continues to destabilize Europe.”

He pointed to specific examples of violent crimes committed by migrants, such as the tragic murder of preschool children in England and knife attacks across Germany. “These are not isolated incidents,” he stressed. “They are the direct consequences of reckless migration policies championed by Brussels and obediently implemented by governments like Fiala’s.”

“In 2023, the crime rate among foreigners in the Czech Republic rose by 18%, with crimes committed by Ukrainians increasing by a staggering 45%. These are simply facts,” he added.

Okamura further highlighted the severity of the situation, recalling a horrific example: “In Mannheim, Germany, six people were stabbed to death by a migrant, including a critic of Islam. This is the grim reality we face when leaders fail to act,” he warned.

“This pact, which Fiala’s government cowardly abstained from opposing, will lead to hundreds or even thousands of illegal migrants being redistributed to the Czech Republic,” Okamura warned. “Unlike Hungary and Poland, our leaders failed to protect their citizens.”

Okamura: A Voice for the People

Okamura, born to a Japanese father and a Moravian mother, has been a consistent critic of illegal migration and the EU’s policies. He reiterated his commitment to naming issues “truthfully and as they are,” refusing to be intimidated by threats of imprisonment. “Of course, they will not silence me. I will never duck out or be scared off. I will continue to fight for a safe Czech Republic,” he said, adding, “I do not want any illegal African or Islamic migrants here.”

Okamura highlighted disturbing statistics to back his warnings, referencing knife attacks in Germany and other European countries committed by illegal migrants. “In 2023 alone, Germany recorded 3,842 knife attacks, most perpetrated by migrants without German passports,” he stated. “This is a reality we cannot ignore.”

He also referenced cases closer to home: “In Lukavka, Czechia, an underage girl was raped in broad daylight by a repeat offender migrant from Africa. These are the consequences of policies that prioritize political correctness over protecting our citizens.”

“This is not an isolated incident,” Okamura added. “This is what happens when leaders ignore the consequences of their policies and allow lawlessness to prevail.”

Defending Freedom of Speech

Okamura’s prosecution, he argues, is not just an attack on him but an attack on democracy itself. “This is an assault on freedom of speech and an attempt to criminalize the only political movement that diligently defends the Czech Republic against Brussels’ dictates,” he proclaimed.

Legislative Reforms for a Safer Czech Republic

The SPD leader outlined a clear vision for tackling illegal migration. “We need laws similar to those in Japan, Australia, and New Zealand, with zero tolerance for illegal migration,” he proposed.

Okamura outlined the need for stricter measures to deter illegal migration. “In countries like Australia, illegal migrants are sent to an island like Nauru and receive no public benefits. This discourages illegal entry. Why can’t we adopt a similar approach?” he asked.

“Why should Czech citizens pay the price for Brussels’ mistakes? Illegal migrants should have no claim to our social benefits and must be immediately deported,” he said.

Okamura also called for tighter border controls, pointing to the successful measures implemented by Germany and Austria. “Our Eastern border is like a sieve,” he lamented. “We must know who enters our country and ensure the safety of our citizens.”

He proposed additional measures such as banning the propagation of Islam, including the construction of mosques and public obscuring of faces, as already implemented in Denmark and Austria. “The Czech Republic must regain control over its migration policies and reject the dictates of Brussels,” he said.

“This is Not Racism — This is Reality”

Okamura dismissed accusations of racism, citing his own multicultural heritage. “I have inherited slanted eyes from my father and Moravian roots from my mother. What we are addressing are facts, not prejudice,” he argued.

“Facts do not discriminate. It is not racist to point out that the majority of knife attacks in Germany were committed by migrants. Ignoring this reality is what truly endangers our citizens,” Okamura stated.

He insisted that naming the causes of societal problems is essential for Europe’s survival. “If we replace reasons with consequences, we are on a path to self-destruction,” he warned. “The migration wave of the past decade is a massive problem for Europe, threatening its safety, prosperity, and competitiveness.”

A Call to Action

Okamura urged Czech citizens to support the SPD as the election approaches, framing the upcoming vote as a crucial battle for the nation’s future. “Do you agree that I should keep fighting and not back down? If yes, support the SPD in this year’s parliamentary elections,” he appealed.

He emphasized that his fight is not only for his party but for the safety and prosperity of the Czech Republic. “I want us to be a country like Japan or Switzerland—safe, secure, and prosperous. Security is the prerequisite for prosperity, and I stand firmly behind this principle.”

“Fiala’s government speaks of tolerance and inclusion while allowing policies that endanger our citizens. Who will stand for Czechia’s safety and sovereignty if not us?” he concluded.

Our Nation’s Future

Tomio Okamura’s defiance against politically motivated attacks highlights his role as a staunch defender of Czech sovereignty and security. He calls for voter support to ensure a secure, independent Czech Republic, free from Brussels’ overreach and steadfast in protecting its sovereignty. ‘I will continue to speak the truth,’ Okamura vowed. ‘The safety and prosperity of our country depend on it.’

Okamura’s message is clear: the SPD is the only party standing between the Czech Republic and the chaos unleashed by the EU’s failed migration policies. “This fight is not just about me. It is about the future of our nation. Together, we will prevail.”
