The Secret Service ramped up security after receiving intel about an Iranian plot to assassinate former President Donald Trump. This development comes as no surprise, considering the ongoing threats from Iran since the killing of General Qassem Soleimani in January 2020.
In April 2022, Iran’s Quds Force commander, Brigadier General Esmail Qaani, declared that revenge for Soleimani’s death was inevitable and could come from “within the U.S.” This was a clear threat against President Trump.
Back in January 2020, shortly after the assassination of Qassem Soleimani, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei vowed severe retaliation. Although not explicitly naming Trump, the threats were clearly directed at those responsible for Soleimani’s death.
On the anniversary of Soleimani’s death in January 2021, Iranian officials repeated their vow for revenge. Iranian judiciary chief Ebrahim Raisi, who later became president, declared that those involved in Soleimani’s killing “will not be safe on Earth.”
By January 2022, the Iranian government sanctioned several U.S. officials, including Trump, for their role in Soleimani’s assassination. Although these sanctions were largely symbolic, they are a troubling reminder of Iran’s relentless quest to get Trump.
This latest threat to President Trump makes perfect sense since both leftists and Islamic supremacists have a pattern of joining forces to target their joint enemy. Just days ago, a leftist tried to assassinate Trump at his rally and ended up killing one of his supporters. This illustrates the dangerous convergence of the Left and Islamic supremacists, both targeting Trump.
Their alliance, known as the Red/Green Axis, is driven by a shared goal of global domination. They won’t stop until they eliminate the man standing in their way. Communists and Islamic supremacists have long united to destroy those who champion sovereignty and individual freedom.
They use each other to achieve their goals but eventually turn against one another. This is exactly what happened in Iran. After the Communists overthrew the Shah of Iran in a revolution, the Ayatollah took over the country. He then instituted a ‘night of the long knives,’ during which tens of thousands of communist revolutionaries were murdered to make way for the Iranian Islamic regime.
Both the Left and Islamic supremacists aim to force global submission to their ideologies. “Submission” is the literal translation of the word “Islam.”
They seek to achieve this through force or by voluntary conversion. This threat is a clear reminder of the dangerous left-wing and Islamic alliances that exist and the lengths they will go to in their quest for power.
