Brutal hospital attack on New Year’s Eve!
As a video from a surveillance camera at Lichtenberg Hospital shows, three young men caused a disturbance in a Berlin emergency room on New Year’s Eve and brutally assaulted a doctor and a nurse. The three intoxicated men struck the clinic staff in the head and threatened the clinic’s employees in the Lichtenberg district.
According to the police statement, the three men, aged 25, 20, and 16, turned aggressive when they felt that the 25-year-old wasn’t treated quickly or adequately enough, in their opinion.
The 42-year-old doctor sustained a head injury from a punch and had to receive outpatient treatment. The 32-year-old nurse also suffered minor head injuries. Journalist Paul Brandenburg initially reported the case on X (formerly Twitter) and the Berliner Zeitung.
The police took all three clinic attackers into preventive custody. However, the police did not disclose the nationality of the bearded, dark-haired men.
